About GoodFur Spa

Goodfur Grooming Spa was founded by me, Jess Brown, in 2024, after years of working in salons that didn’t always put the dog’s comfort first. I’ve been in the grooming industry since 2018, and my passion for this work sparked instantly.

I make sure every dog I work with feels safe, calm, and cared for during their grooming sessions.

 

I’m Fear Free certified and trained in cooperative care, an approach that lets dogs participate in their own grooming rather than just tolerate it. I’m also trained in AKC Safe Handling and certified in pet CPR and first aid, so your dog’s safety is never an afterthought.

 

In 2026, I completed the Master Groomer Behavior Specialist (MGBS) program, and understanding canine behavior is at the heart of everything I do. I make it a priority to keep learning and stay current with the tools, products, and methods that help dogs feel their best, because a great groom should never come at the cost of a dog’s trust. You choosing me to care for your dog is truly an honor.
